Subscribe Feed (RSS)According to this article in the Washington Post, a 59-year-old corporate executive in England was discovered to have three wives when they all showed up to visit them in the hospital after a triple bypass operation (no comment on that part!).
The best part is that the guy pleaded guilty to two counts of bigamy and got a four-month suspended sentence and a fine of $126 (or whatever that is in pounds). That’s not even a slap on the wrist in England!
So here’s my question of the day for all you lawyers out there: the article concludes by saying that his second and third marriages were never valid legally. If that’s the case…how could he be guilty of bigamy?!?!?!
